Description:

DeArrow is a browser extension designed to enhance the quality of titles and thumbnails on YouTube through crowdsourcing.

The primary objective of DeArrow is to promote accuracy while minimizing sensationalism in video titles.

Users have the flexibility to submit any text as titles, and thumbnails are curated from specific timestamps within the videos, allowing for user submissions and upvoting.

When no submissions are available, DeArrow will automatically format the original title according to user preferences and set a random screenshot as the thumbnail. Users can customize this behavior in the settings to maintain the original format or thumbnail display.

Furthermore, users can endorse the original thumbnail if they find it suitable, treating it as a submission for voting.

Gone are the days of dealing with clickbait, excessive arrows, or distracting facial expressions.

DeArrow enables users to propose improved titles and thumbnails for each video and participate in the voting process.
